Wale Joins Lightshow On New Song “Your Side, My Side”

Lightshow is one of the hottest emerging acts out of the DMV right now. One of his first formal introductions to the game was back in 2012 when Wale recruited Lightshow for his tape Folarin. After nearly seven years, they’ve linked up for brand new cut together titled, “Your Side, My Side.” Their latest collaboration is a song that puts on for the DMV, an area the two hail from. With production from Mike Hector and Dez Wright, the two deliver another tight collaboration.

“Lightshow is somebody who supports the culture from back home from all aspects: DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This song makes the most sense for what I’m trying to do, for what he’s trying to do and you can best believe that me and Lightshow are about to have 100 more of these, so get ready this summer,” Wale said about the collab.
