SOURCE SPORTS: Isaiah Thomas Suspended Two Games for Confronting Fan in Stands

Isaiah Thomas left the bench Saturday night to confront a fan in the stands when his Washington wizards played the Philadelphia 76ers. He is now receiving a two-game suspension.

League rules state a player who purposefully heads to the stands is automatically subject to fine and suspension.

ESPN details the fan confronted by Thomas, along with his friend, who has been banned from the Wells Fargo Center in Philly for a year.

While shooting free throws, Thomas said he saw the fans hold “both of his middle fingers up and said, ‘F— you, b—-,’ three times.”

“I said: ‘Don’t be disrespectful. I’m a man before anything. Be a fan.’ His response was, ‘I’m sorry, I just wanted a Frosty,’” Thomas said, detailing fans received a frosty after missed free throws.

Now let’s go to Isaiah Thomas for his reaction:
