This recording is both playful, romantic, and tragic all at the same time. One can imagine Mr Boneschi sitting in a room full of electronic equipment alone, speaking his deepest most thoughts and emotions through an electronic organ, sequencer and drum machine. To describe this album in one sentence: “video game music before video games existed”.

Giampiero Boneschi, an Italian Jazz drummer, was an early pioneer of electronic instruments, and you can hear the perfect balance between the formal and experimental on this extraordinary performance. さようなら!
