Lil Lonnie Posthumous Album “True Colors” Has Arrived

2018 was a year we lost many members of the hip-hop community. Lil Lonnie, a rising star out of Jackson, MS, was shot multiple times while driving before crashing in front of a home. The loss of Lil Lonnie hit many members of the hip-hop community deeply. April 30th marked the one year anniversary since his untimely death. 

Lil Lonnie’s team released his first posthumous album, True Colors earlier this week, on May 5th which also marked “Lil Lonnie Day” in his hometown. True Colors has no features on it with Lil Lonnie holding down the project in its entirety over the 10-song tracklist. 

True Colors marks the first project released from Lonnie’s estate since his death but also, his first project since dropping, TKWGO 3 in October 2017.
