Kodak Black’s Radio Ban Prompts Bhad Bhabie Replace Him On “Bestie”: Report

Kodak Black was once Bhad Bhabie’s first major rap co-sign. The 15-year-old rapper appeared in the unofficial video for “Everything 1K” before they developed a relationship — one that concerned her father. The two later worked together on Bhad Bhabie’s single, “Bestie” which arrived earlier this year with an accompanying visual starring DMX. Unfortunately, the recent ban placed on Kodak Black’s music at certain radio stations has prompted her to replace the Floridian rapper from the track.

Kodak Black’s been engulfed in a string of controversies over the few months — from his back-and-forth with Reginae Carter and lewd comments towards Young M.A. — which have put a mark on his career. What really pushed things over the edge was Kodak’s comments towards Lauren London following the passing of Nipsey Hussle. While the rapper’s been accused of rape and has other legal issues, apparently the disrespect towards Lauren London was where stations decided to draw the line.

Bhad Bhabie’s camp was reportedly contacted by several radio stations who asked her if she could re-record a version of the track without Kodak’s presence. Clearly, she obliged. She ended up snagging one of the hottest rappers out, Megan Thee Stallion, for the new version.

Despite nixing Kodak Black from the song, she doesn’t have any hard feelings towards Kodak Black. Maybe we’ll hear a new track from them in the future.
