Kodak Black is Donating School Supplies to Kids for Coronavirus Aid

Well in more positive news regarding the coronavirus pandemic, Kodak Black is pledging to donate books and other school supplies to kids who are learning at home in his hometown of Broward County, FL.

Even though Kodak is still serving a 46-month prison sentence over a federal gun charge, Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that the rapper is donating 625 comprehension books to kids in his hometown as well as donating supplies and notebooks to kids from first to fifth grade.

Kodak reportedly spent $5,000 to make the donation happen. Even though the CDC recommends people stay in their homes and practice “Social Distancing,” members of Kodak’s camp are going to help deliver the books and supplies to the kids.

Back in November of 2019, Kodak gave out thousands of dollars in Publix gift cards, and for Christmas, Kodak dropped another few thousand dollars on toys and gifts for over 70 children in Broward County.

This is just one case in the many celebrities who are helping with the coronavirus relief. Kanye West recently donated to the non-profit We Women Empowered and the Dream Center which is helping deliver meals to children and the elderly in Los Angeles and Chicago. Zion Williamson even pledged to pay the wages for workers at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans for one month.
