James Blake Adds “Mulholland” For “Assume Form” Deluxe Edition

James Blake waited roughly three years between the release of The Colour In Anything and his latest release, Assume Form. The project stood out in comparison to his other albums — he delivered a more joyful album and enlisted some incredible artists to collaborate with. Metro Boomin’ makes two appearances on the project including “Mile High” which also features Travis Scott. Today, the rapper delivered the deluxe edition of the album which includes the addition of his new song, “Mulholland.”

“Mulholland” was added to Assume Form for the vinyl re-release. The singer dabbles with the pitch of his vocals as he croons over a piano progression before a simple trap drum kicks in.

Check out James Blake’s new song below and peep our review of Assume Form here.

Quotable Lyrics
That lingers forward, that lingers forward
Where the tide comes in early and leaves us stranded
Without our family until the morning
