Exclusive: SoWayv Teams Up With Corey Finesse For “Dirty Diana” Video

The name SoWayv may be familiar at this point. The 21-year-old started out as a DJ in the heart of New York City, opening up for people like Macklemore, Pusha-T, and others. The Brooklyn native is now pursuing his passion as an artist, bringing his talent to a national level and dropping his brand new video with Corey Finesse today.

Speaking exclusively with us, SoWayv said that the song holds a pretty deep meaning to him. “‘Dirty Diana’ is about me falling in love with the wrong one,” he said. “She’s really in love with another dude but is using me to bring him money or whatever. I’m blinded by what I thought is love and she’s getting one over on me. Shit kinda set my mindset back on love and relationships.” From the sounds of it, Wayv has had some trouble in past relationships and he’s using music to accurately portray his feelings.

The video is flashy with tons of vivid imagery in the strip club, trippy editing and an emotional story behind everything else.
