DJ Drama Responds To Nav’s Claim About Lil Uzi Vert’s “Habits” Verse

DJ Drama clearly caught wind of the comments made by Nav earlier today and cleared the air. Speaking to Complex, DJ Drama said that Generation Now previously cleared four collaborations between Nav and Lil Uzi Vert, claiming that money isn’t the reason why they didn’t clear the song. “It’s not about the money because we turned down $100k,” he said.

Late last night, Nav aired out his problems over the clearance issues surrounding Lil Uzi Vert’s verse on “Habits.” Taking to Instagram, the rapper called out Drama and Cannon for not clearing the verse.

“I use to be a big fan of them since Gangsta Grillz mixtapes and always though they support new artist[s],” he said. “I guess it’s all about the $$$$ for them now! Its crazy but its true,” he added.

Lil Uzi Vert’s expressed his own dissatisfaction towards his label. Ever since the release of Luv Is Rage 2, the rapper’s said on numerous occasions that he feels held back from the label, later announcing that he’d be retiring from the rap game. Out of solidarity, Nav also took a hiatus from the game which he recently came out of.

Nav’s new project, Bad Habits is set to drop tonight. The project is executive produced by The Weeknd, who also features on the project, and includes guest appearances from Meek Mill, Gunna, Young Thug, and Lil Durk.
