Conspiracy Theorists Believe Wayfair is Involved in Child Trafficking
The online furniture store, Wayfair, is being accused of child trafficking and money laundering after a Reddit user made the correlation between missing children and high priced furniture.
Samiyah Mumun, Samara Duplessis, Yaritza Castro, Cameron James Dziedzic, Mary Durett, and Kylah Coleman are the names of missing children and coincidentally, the first names of these children are used on the site. The cabinets named “Neriah,” “Yaritza,” “Samiyah,” and “Alyvia,” were being prices at about $13,000 each, Gizmondo reported.

The conspiracy has already been debunked because a few of the missing children have already been found: Dziedzic was found by the police, on April 2, 2020, in Calvert County. Also, Durett, 16, went missing in the Hermann Park on December 14, 2017, but she was found one week later.
The scandal is being compared to Pizzagate, which was linked to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign, alleging that she’s involved in a child sex trafficking ring.
A spokesperson from Wayfair has denied the claims in an email response via Newsweek. “The products in question are industrial grade cabinets that are accurately priced. Recognizing that the photos and descriptions provided by the supplier did not adequately explain the high price point,” the spokeswoman said. “We have temporarily removed the products from the site to rename them and to provide a more in-depth description and photos that accurately depict the product to clarify the price point.”
