Following the police killing of George Floyd, some protests in Minnesota have turned violent including fires and looting. Cardi B responded to videos of people looting a local target on Twitter.

“They looting in Minnesota and as much as I don’t like this type of violence it is what it is,” Cardi said on social media. “Too much peaceful marches, too much trending hashtags and no solutions! The people are left with no choice.”

Cardi B’s approval of Minnesotan’s reaction to the killing of George Floyd comes as no charges have yet been issued for the involved officers. The 4 police officers were fired from the police department, but are currently free of legal consequence.
