Stephen A. Smith Has Legendary Breakdown In Wake Of NBA Draft Lottery

Knicks fans across the country were absolutely crushed last night when they lost the Zion Williamson sweepstakes to the New Orleans Pelicans, and many of them took to social media to express their frustration. That included ESPN host, and long-suffering Knicks fan, Stephen A. Smith.

Shortly after the Knicks failed to land the top pick, Smith posted his reaction video to twitter, in which he assured fellow Knicks fans that the team would’ve tried to trade Zion to New Orleans anyway.

“Typical Knicks, man,” Smith said. “They get close. They tease us. Then they wouldn’t get it done. I know the Knicks were denying it. I know the Knicks had everybody believing that if they got the No. 1 overall pick they were going to hold on to Zion. But I’m hear to tell you that no matter what they tell anybody, they were thinking about moving their pick for Anthony Davis.”

After sleeping on it, Stephen A seems to have come to terms with the third pick, and warmed to the possibility of RJ Barrett being a star in New York. Just kidding.

In fact, Smith was even more fired up today than he was last night. First, he vented about his frustrations on ESPN’s “Get Up!” His meltdown continued later this afternoon on his radio show.
