There is a very interesting documentary about this guy called Searching for Sugar Man. Definitely worth a watch. His music was extremely popular in South Africa for years and years without his knowledge. After dropping his second album he kind of disappeared off the face of the earth until people were able to track him down and inform him that he was in fact one of the most popular musicians of all time there.
