Samples: Henry Mancini: Dreamsville (Mancini, 1958)

Henry Mancini and His Orchestra perform “Dreamsville, from the American private eye television series “Peter Gunn” which aired on the NBC (produced by Revue Productions) and later ABC (produced by MGM Television) television networks from 1958 to 1961. I recorded this track from the double LP, “This Is Henry Mancini,” RCA (VPS-6029). The show’s creator (and also writer and director on occasion) was Blake Edwards.
