MF DOOM’s estate announced DOOMSDAY tribute and benefit event on Halloween weekend.

DOOMSDAY is scheduled to take place on October 31, in San Francisco. The late rapper’s tribute will arrive on the anniversary of MF DOOM’s death.

The well known supervillain’s passing was announced by his wife on December 31, 2020 when Jasmine revealed that he actually died on Halloween.

“My world will never be the same without you,” she penned on Instagram. “Words will never express what you and Malachi mean to me, I love both and adore you always. May THE ALL continue to bless you, our family and the planet.”

MF DOOM, born Daniel Dumile, died at the age of 49.

Operation Doomsday, DOOM’s debut album paved the way for his lineage of work that has become legendary for both the classic Hip-Hop listener and the new school crowd.

According to Hypebeast, DOOMSDAY will be held at 701 Valencia Street. The public event is set to feature over 30 artists and offer DOOM-inspired art pieces.

In addition, DJs Abby Imperial, Cutso, Jerry Nice, and King are promised to deliver “Supervillain specialist soundtracks.”

50% of the proceeds will go towards the late rapper’s estate.
