Meek Mill, India Love, & More Pay Tribute To Cliff Dixon, Erica Mena’s Ex

This morning, it was reported that Cliff Dixon, Kevin Durant’s best friend and Erica Mena’s ex-boyfriend, passed away after he was shot at his birthday party. Many of his friends and family have been reacting to the truly unfortunate news, sending their regards on social media. From the sheer volume of memorial posts that have been circulating, you can tell that Cliff was somebody that touched a lot of souls and helped a lot of people. The circumstances surrounding his death are still being looked at as his loved ones pour out their heartfelt condolences to his family.

India Love was once in a relationship with Cliff Dixon and her heart is weighing heavy today. “Rest in peace to a great man,” wrote the model on her Instagram story. Dave East also wrote a touching message to Dixon and Kevin Durant, noting that they were together just a short while ago in Atlanta. Meek Mill also showed major love, posting a photo of the late Dixon and writing that he’s had many enjoyable nights with the man. “Damn that’s fucked up @cldtoon rip,” he wrote.

According to TMZ, Dixon’s death is being investigated as a homicide. The police have said that the former basketball star was standing in the parking lot outside of his birthday party when he was shot multiple times. RIP Cliff.
