LeBron James Played In Immense Pain According To Physical Therapist

The sun is shining here in Los Angeles today, but Laker fans aren’t feeling its warmth. The Lakers were officially eliminated from the playoffs last week, which has caused an uproar throughout the city. Of course, we still have the Clippers… but the city’s overall love for the Lakers has long overshadowed the Clippers’ success. While many like to point the blame at LeBron James, his physical therapist has stepped in to deliver some little known facts about James’ groin injury. He missed 17 games with a groin injury that appeared to be the worst injury that James has suffered in his career.  Dr. Karen Joubert, owner of Joubert Physical Therapy in Beverly Hills, posted a photo of her and James which came with a caption that put everything into perspective.

“I want you all to know how bad his injury was and is, the pain he endured,” Dr. Karen Joubert wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “Along with his amazing trainer, Mike Mancias, he was on the court in 6 weeks, it should have been 6 months. Unselfishly, he endured pain, pain, pain. He did not want to let the Lakers down, the fans down. But I know what he went through! I learned about determination, the will to win, how to get the job done. He is a force to be reckoned with.” Of course, nothing is ever really deleted from the internet, and a screenshot of her post has made its way onto Twitter.
