Kodak Black Purchases Over 7,000 Notebooks for Low-Income Students

Paige Cook, 14, is a student at Cleburne Independent School District in Texas, and she launched a campaign to get notebooks to all 7,600 students in the school, as well as 60,000 pencils. With such an ambitious goal, Cook needed some help and this is where Kodak Black comes in.

Black picked up the tab for the notebooks which equaled up to $12,500. The donated items will benefit a school district that consists mostly of low-income students.

This could possibly be a PR stunt because Black’s been making negative headlines, or a cause that moved him. Either way, it’s a good look for the Pompano Beach rapper.

Kodak Black is no stranger to a good cause. On a mission to focus on positive impacts, he dressed up as Santa and donated cash to early childhood education.
