Johnny Manziel Approves Of Eminem’s Idea To Bring Fighting To The AAF

Johnny Manziel seems to be in favor of Eminem’s proposed rule change for the Alliance of American Football.

On Monday night, Eminem tweeted at the AAF:

“DEAR @THEAAF,
PLEASE ENTERTAIN THIS THOUGHT REGARDING THE @AAFIRON@AAFEXPRESS GAME: ALLOWING THE PLAYERS TO ACTUALLY FIGHT WOULD BE KEY TO LEAGUE’S SUCCESS LIKE HOCKEY, I WOULD WATCH EVERY GAME (EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO DETROIT TEAM YET – HINT). DON’T BLOW IT. SINCERELY, MARSHALL”

Manziel, who recently signed with the AAF’s Memphis Express, responded by saying, “I got you.”

Manziel made his AAF debut with the Express on Sunday, as Memphis defeated the Birmingham Iron by the final of 31-25. The 26-year old saw a limited number of snaps behind starting QB Brandon Silvers, and finished 3-of-5 for 38 yards in addition to two carries for 20 yards.

Meanwhile, Silvers had 266 yards and two touchdowns. With three games remaining in the AAF’s inaugural regular season, the Express are sitting at just 2-5.

Charlie Ebersol, the CEO and co-founder of the AAF, also responded to Eminem’s tweet, but he didn’t address the fighting idea.
