Gunna’s “Wunna” Debuts At No.1 On Billboard Charts

Gunna’s album, Wunna, debuted in first place on the Billboard 200 chart, this week, as anticipated.

The project earned 111,000 equivalent album units in its first week of availability. Wunna was streamed 143.6 million times, equating to 106,000 sales. The remaining units comprise of album sales and TEA units.

This is the rappers first project to debut at number one on the chart. Gunna’s previous effort, 2019’s Drip Or Drown 2, debuted at No. 2 with 90,000 equivalent album units. 

Wunna is the other side of me that I don’t really be showing,” Gunna told High Snobiety regarding Wunna. “I want people to know that I really took my time and I really put heart into this album. I made more than an album, I made a series with it. Even with the cover, the videos, with the merch and everything, it goes together. I want people to understand that I’m a real artist.”

Lil Baby earned the number 2 spot with his latest album My Turn. The project earned 65,000 equivalent album units over the course of the last week. Future’s High Off Life landed at number 3 with 61,000 units. The 1975’s Notes on a Conditional Form came in at No. 4 with 54,000 equivalent album, and Polo G’s The Goat rounded out the top 5 with 52,000 equivalent album units.
