Fans Swarm Nipsey Hussle’s Marathon Clothing Store To Mourn Rapper’s Sudden Death

Thirty-three-year-old Ermias Asghedom, professionally known as Nipsey Hussle was gunned down in South Los Angeles yesterday in front of his Marathon Clothing store. The news came as a shock and pure tragedy to not only the hip-hop industry and his former collaborators but to fans and family as well.

From posts on social media, we can see that hundreds of people have gathered near Nipsey’s shop to pay their respects to the late rapper. Fans appeared with signs, candles, and speakers to blast Nipsey’s music.

At the time of the gathering, the parking lot was still an active crime scene but just after midnight the space was open to all, and fans gathered closer to the storefront chanting Nipsey’s name.

A helicopter view shows the swarm of people right outside the location where Nipsey’s life was cut short.

Nipsey’s partner Lauren London has yet to speak out on the death of Nipsey, but we can only hope she and her two son’s are surrounded by love at this time. “Heavy. Sending nothing but love and condolences to Nipsey’s family, friends, Lauren, loved ones. Man had a lot of v positive things he was working on for his community and overall consciousness not to mention always solid energy when we crossed paths” Miguel wrote of Nipsey’s death.
