DMX Apologizes to Lloyd Banks: ‘I Was Thinking Tony Yayo When I Was Asked About Banks’
DMX and Fatman Scoop’s conversation on Instagram live last week was very insightful. The highlight of the conversation is when X claimed Lloyd Banks didn’t have the lyrical prowess to be included in Scoop’s top lyricist.
It wasn’t an aggressive exchange, but the G-Unit rapper caught wind of his remarks. “So because I didn’t come to the studio to work when HE reached out..I’m not that good?” Banks wrote.
“It takes a real n***a to admit when he’s wrong……” DMX wrote on a screenshot of Lloyd Banks’ tweets. “My apologies to loyd banks I was thinking tony yayo when I was asked about banks. I fuck with banks!”
