DaBaby Dropped From Governors Ball Lineup Following Homophobic Remarks

DaBaby is still feeling the backlash from his homophobic remarks he made at Rolling Loud last week.

Collaborators like Dua Lipa have spoken out against him and he was clipped from the Lollapalooza lineup.

Governors Ball just announced that they will be dropping the KIRK rapper from their festival which kicks off on September 24 in New York City.

“Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind,” the statement reads. “We welcome and celebrate the diverse communities that make New York CIty the greatest city in the world. Thank you to the fans who continue to speak up for what is right. Along with you, we will continue to use our platform.”

DaBaby was quietly scrubbed from the Parklife 2021 festival lineup but a rep for the rapper claims that it’s not correlated to the controversy.

During his set the “BOP” rapper made questionable remarks in an attempt to hype the crowd up.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said to the crowd in a clip that went viral. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”
