Bow Wow Says Jail “Was A Life-Changing Moment”

Bow Wow started the year off on an awful foot when he got booked for allegedly assaulting his now-former girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie. Bow, who now goes by Shad Moss has already spoken on the matter and his mug shot that saw him with scratches all over his face. “Once the photo came out of me, and they saw the two and compared, that’s when everything switched. I actually saw a lot of men fighting for me,” he said

More recently, Shad has linked with Real 92.3 LA’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood to discuss the matter, even more, explaining how jail time had a dramatic effect on him.

“It’s still pending, it’s still open, still out on bail,” he said of the case. “First of all, I shouldn’t have been locked up period. The pictures, you saw that. The pictures say it all. Not to put the blame on her or put the blame on me… When I was in that cell it was a life-changing moment for me. I felt as far as my own self, I needed that. I needed that moment to think, to understand who I was.”

Leslie has even spoken out about the whole arrest, calling Shad out for lying about what really happened. “Bow Wow went on a whole radio show and lied dead in the people face,” Leslie wrote. “And the people who believe him should enter the circus with his clown ass! Keep tryna promote that show off my name as your storyline…#narcissistic Been a whole month and people still playing the victim. You should as silly as you look. Let go and move on bro. Tired of folks playing.”
